DIGIEVER is thrilled to announce the release of the DS-16x00-RM UHD NVR series, a new 16-bay rackmount network video recorder with a linux-embedded operating system that is now available on the market. The DS-16x00-RM UHD NVR series includes three sub-series, namely DS-16500-RM UHD, DS-16400-RM UHD, and DS-16300-RM UHD, which are capable of supporting up to 128 channels, making them perfect for long-term recording needs and suitable for surveillance requirements of any business scale.

The outstanding PC-less Linux-embedded NVR solution with 4K capability

With its powerful Intel CPU and advanced DIGIEVER hardware decoding technology, The DS-16x00-RM UHD series delivers exceptional real-time 4K local display performance up to 240FPS via HDMI 2.0a output, surpassing its predecessor rackmount series. Additionally, the DS-16x00-RM UHD boasts advanced features such as two HDMI 2.0a ports, six USB3.2 Gen 1x1 ports, two 2.5Gigabit Ethernet ports, four digital input connectors, and four digital output connectors, providing users with unprecedented scalability and expandability. This versatile NVR series also supports up to 18TB hard disks currently available in the market, offering users a massive storage capacity of up to 288TB for long-term video recording.

Multi-channel Video Playback

DIGIEVER DS-16x00-RM UHD Series provides real-time local display monitoring and multi-channel video playback capabilities. With HDMI port, the NVR series offers a wide range of display modes, including 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10, 12, 16, 20, 25, 30, 32, 36, 42, 49, 56, 64-channel, 5+1/12+1-channel sequential, and full-screen options on the local display. The system supports up to 16-channel simultaneous playback, making it easy to track and retrieve event footage.

Efficient event footage tracking and retrieval are achieved with intuitive features. Instant playback allows for a quick review of past events while simultaneously viewing live videos on the live-view page. Once the key moment of an event is identified, users can take a snapshot or export the video promptly. Additionally, the system supports instant export (up to 16-channel videos), enabling continuous video playback while exporting videos. These exported videos can be easily played using NVRPlayer on a PC, ensuring multi-channel footage can be viewed with accurate start and end times, providing an identical playback experience as on the NVR.

Reliable and Efficient Remote Monitoring with Built-in Relay Server

The DS-16x00-RM UHD NVR features powerful built-in relay server. By capturing camera streams and providing multi-streaming requests from different devices, multiple clients can now simultaneously monitor live-view videos, overcoming camera limitations and ensuring uninterrupted surveillance.

In large-scale projects where multiple remote sites require continuous monitoring, camera resources may be insufficient to provide multiple streams for numerous clients. However, with DIGIEVER NVR, this challenge is effortlessly addressed. Each NVR allows up to 12 clients to simultaneously adopt streams from the NVR's relay, enabling seamless viewing for each channel. With the ability to offer up to 144 streams for remote monitoring, the DS-16x00-RM UHD empowers you to flexibly guard your regions for diverse purposes.

Powerful Failover Server: Never miss a moment

DIGIEVER DS-16x00-RM UHD Series can easily serve as a failover server that seamlessly performs three essential tasks - monitoring, failover, and failback - ensuring critical footage is never missed. Equipped with a flexible N+1 monitor architecture, a single failover server can monitor up to 4 NVRs (expandable to 16 NVRs with license add-on). In the event of temporary NVR failure due to network instability or HDD issues, the failover server takes over recording duties effortlessly. What sets the failover server apart is its customizable priority settings for handling multiple NVR failures simultaneously. Users have the ability to define the order in which the failed NVRs are taken over. Once the affected NVR is back online, the failover server automatically ceases to take over and begins exporting recorded videos back to the NVR. Both the failover server and DIGIEVER NVR retain the footage from the failover period, making video retrieval a breeze.
